About Coco Dowley
Coco Dowley’s whimsical illustrations have been licensed on everything from calendars to dinnerware to shower curtains and are found all over the world. Chances are you would recognize Coco’s artwork immediately. You may even have one of her wonderfully designed products in your home.
Coco’s life has followed an interesting creative path up to the recently opened frame shop & gallery. She attended Parsons School of Design in New York City and graduated from the Syracuse University Textile Design Department. Coco relocated to Kansas City, Missouri to work for Hallmark Cards at first as an art director and then an artist. The entrepreneurial spirit then touched her on the shoulder and she started her own design licensing company which she has run for 18 years. Her style is multi faceted and gives her the freedom to create designs for the infant, juvenile, and adult markets. Coco’s talents are now being applied to her new business venture: custom picture framing.
